Need Refinishing?

We all know that hardwood floors can last a lifetime. However, that lifetime of beauty and enjoyment doesn’t come without a little bit of work. Daily cleaning and polishing the floors every few months are excellent ways to keep floors looking fresh, but eventually, you may need to refinish your hardwood floors.

Refinishing wood floors is a great way to extend the life of your flooring and is cheaper and more environmentally safe than a full replacement. If you’re tired of the current look of your floors and want an update, you can refinish your floors to get an entirely new look with much less effort and inconvenience to you.

How We Refinish

We use a top of the line dust collection system to handle all of the dust created during sanding. We use an American belt sander to prevent chatter marks that other drum sanders leave behind. After all of the old finish is removed we fill the holes and knots with dura-seal wood filler and sand again. We then buff the floor to give it a consistent sanding before applying a stain that fits your homes look. Using Bona Mega One water based polyurethane for the finish, one of the industries most reliable floor finishes.

After Care

After you floor has completely cured, its time to put all of your belongings back in the house. Add felt to the bottom of chairs and be careful sliding furniture into place. Keeping the floor clean and wiping up your spills will insure your floor lasts a long time and stays looking beautiful.
